*I first saw photographs of Uxua Casa Hotel and Spa from a spread in the July 2012 issue of Vogue. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to pitch it as a location. Some time later we started reviewing the Spring collection and decided to do a concept celebrating the vitality of color. The combination was further strengthened with photographer Erik Madigan Heck.

*This campaign was inspired by the annual Hoi An Lantern Festival in Vietnam. Days before our arrival, a typhoon storm devastated the area. All of our pre-selected locations were flooded and the festival cancelled. With valuable production time lost, my team tweaked our production plan and utilized our remaining 36 hours to produce a campaign that generated the most sales for the company of that year.
